The powerhouse singer shared how she keeps her figure looking svelte and slim

Jennifer, 33, got her first taste of fame as a curvy contestant with undeniable talent on American Idol, around 10 years ago.

Fast forward to today, with an Oscar and several Grammys under her belt, the star is looking noticeably slimmer and is launching full steam ahead with her newest album ‘JHUD’.

The svelte singer reportedly lost around 36 kg during her time as the face of Weight Watchers, from 2010-2014. Even more impressive, Jennifer has kept the weight off and continues to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

So how does the self-confessed chocolate addict do it? The answer might surprise you!

“I throw the pancakes across the room! I don’t let the food intimidate me,” Jennifer told Yahoo Style.

In all seriousness, however, the singer reveals it’s all down to portion control and being careful about what she eats.

“If it’s too much, I just get rid of it, but I make sure to watch what I put in my body,” she said.

“And I make sure I know what it is. It’s all about portions for the most part. I don’t work out a lot, but I do like to be active.”

The star doesn’t restrict herself too much, though – especially when it comes to chocolate! Jennifer says she loves the sweet treat and will always “have chocolate around” on her tour rider.
