Madonna, 56, was in the middle of performing her latest single ‘Living for Love’ at the 2015 Brit Awards when a problem with her costume saw her tumbling offstage and into her dancers.
Video of the performance shows Madonna struggling to remove her black cape before a dancer tries to help by pulling it off. It was all too much for the Material Girl, however, as the sudden force caused the singer to stumble backwards and fall off the stage completely, landing on her back amidst a shocked group of dancers.
Ever the professional, however, Madonna takes a few moments to recover and then quickly jumps right back into the song. She later posted on her Instagram, \”Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine!\”
