“Mother and daughter are doing well,” her representative confirmed to The Associate Press on September 4.
The first-time mum kept a low profile during her pregnancy and was spotted looking heavily pregnant out and about in New York City in July.
The actress, who was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008-2011, recently gushed about her French beau, who she has been engaged to since September 2013.
“It is [easier], but it’s more than that,” she told Vogue.
“We do different things. He’s in the whole art-scene world. So it’s nice, because we can enjoy each other’s worlds, but we don’t have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with.”
